What is the difference between Weglot and Framer Localization?
Framer Localization is a strong choice for a Framer-only site with a few languages that wants to manage everything inside the canvas. Weglot is a better fit when the number of languages, pages or reviewers makes translation management a larger job, when you work across more than one web platform, or when Weglot's pricing model fits the project better than Framer's per-locale add-ons.
Can I use AI translation for Framer?
Yes. Both Weglot and Framer can automatically translate new and updated content. Framer's Auto Translate works across Canvas and CMS content, while Weglot detects and translates content through the Weglot integration.
Framer keeps the work inside its canvas. Weglot gives larger projects a separate translation list with filters, assignments and review controls.
How do I handle brand tone or glossary terms when translating my Framer site?
Both products provide terminology and tone controls. Framer has glossary rules and AI Style instructions. Weglot's Language Model can use website context, custom tone instructions, glossary rules and previous manual translations.
The difference is the wider editing and review workflow around those controls, not the existence of a glossary.
How can I add hreflang tags to a Framer site?
Both Framer Localization and Weglot support hreflang tags for multilingual pages. Framer manages them inside its native localization product. Can I translate my slugs in Framer?
Yes. Framer supports localized page paths and CMS slugs. Weglot also supports translated URL slugs on eligible plans.
Will using Weglot hurt the SEO of my Framer site?
Weglot is designed to make translated Framer pages indexable. It creates dedicated language URLs, translates SEO metadata and adds hreflang tags that connect each language version.

How is Framer Localization priced?
