Weglot Partner Hub: how to track your clients and collect your commissions
Your Weglot dashboard handles translation. The Partner Hub handles money. Here's why the distinction matters
You've set up your agency account, created client workspaces, and started delivering multilingual projects. But there's a layer most agencies never activate: the Partner Hub. It's where every client you refer becomes a source of recurring commission. This episode covers what the Partner Hub gives you, how to register your clients correctly, and exactly how rewards turn into payouts.
Two tools, two different jobs
As a Weglot agency partner, you have access to two separate tools. Your Weglot dashboard is where everything translation-related lives — workspaces, projects, languages, content. The Partner Hub is where everything commission-related lives — leads, existing customers, rewards, payouts.
The critical point: the two don't sync automatically (yet). Delivering work in your Weglot dashboard doesn't register your clients in the Partner Hub. That's a manual step and it's the one most agencies skip entirely.
What you get by registering
Joining the Partner Hub is free and takes a few minutes. Once you're in, here's what it unlocks.
Commissions that start at 10% and scale up to 25%. On every payment your referred clients make, for as long as they stay subscribed. New subscription, renewal, plan upgrade: each one generates a commission automatically in the background.
Partner tiers that compound your earnings. As you refer more clients, you move up from First Timer to Expert Partner. A higher tier means a higher commission rate across your entire client base — not just new referrals. Every client you've ever referred benefits from your progress.
An exclusive partner badge. This is a visible credential you can display on your website, proposals, and pitch decks. It tells prospects you're a certified Weglot expert, which is a different signal than simply having used the tool.
Dedicated resources. Sales materials, pitch decks, quote tools, and product documentation, all available directly in your Partner Hub. No building from scratch.
A dedicated agency support team that knows the agency context, understands your use cases, and resolves issues faster than standard support.
Registering leads and existing customers
The Partner Hub accepts two types of contacts and both are worth registering.
Leads are clients who haven't subscribed yet. Add them before they pay. The email you enter must exactly match the one they'll use on their Weglot account — specifically, the email you used to invite them to their workspace. One character off and the commission doesn't trigger, so double-check before submitting.
Existing customers are clients already paying for Weglot. Past payments aren't retroactive, but from their next renewal onwards, every payment generates a commission. If you've been managing clients for months without registering them, add them now. The clock starts at the next renewal.
The process from there is straightforward: you refer the client in the Partner Hub, the Weglot partnerships team reviews it, the client pays, and a reward appears on your dashboard. The email match is the only fragile link. Get that right and the rest is automatic.
How rewards become payouts
Rewards accumulate throughout the month as clients pay or renew. At the end of each month, Weglot bundles all that month's rewards into a single payout. There's then a one-month delay before the transfer hits your account.
In practice: a client pays in March → reward created in March → bundled at end of March as a payout → one month delay → payout received at the beginning of May. It's not instant, but it's predictable, reliable, and it compounds as your client base grows.
Don't leave it unregistered
Every client you've set up on Weglot, every renewal, every new project, can be generating commissions automatically. But only if you're registered, and only if your leads and customers are in the system.
